Decided to try my luck with the NOTIME dental gum again today (for some reason). They come in these little squares wrapped in reflective foil. It really has a very medical feel to the packaging. On the back it says it brushes your gums. Gross...
The gum is green and powdered kinda like a latex glove. It has these little blue pellets in it, although you cant see them in the picture. You know those pellets that are in gel hand sanitizer? Yeah, pretty much the same thing.
It smells mildly minty, and has this harder crust on the outside of the gum (although that could have been because the gum took about 6 months to get here...). I found it much less sweet than american dental gum, which was pleasant. I'm not a huge fan of overly sweet things. The gum's inside was very soft, but after only about a minute it started to squeak when I bit down on it. About four minutes in, it was so loud that it was obnoxious, and at about 10 minutes it had lost all its flavor. At that point it also had the texture (AND TASTE) of a latex glove, and i'm pretty sure if you chewed on a latex glove, it would be just as deafening. After about 12 minutes I had to spit it out. All in all, a pretty disgusting experience. I have no idea why I thought maybe it would be better the second time...
I'll review one of the BALLS OF DOOM flavors tomorrow. That should be interesting! ^^
